The Rising Sun 4WD Club out of Colorado is putting on the Annual Toyota 4x4 event in connection the Toyota Land Cruiser Association.

AREA BFE - JEEP SAFARI - Schedule

Monday - Private event
Tuesday - CRAWL MAGAZINE READER's RUN open to everyone!!!
Wednesday - Private event
Thursday - ROCKY MOUNTAIN EXTREME TRAIL RUN on Green Day
-Other trails open for day wheeling
-Night wheeling
Friday - Day and Night wheeling
Saturday - Day Wheeling plus 3rd Annual AreaBFE Prize Giveaway.
Sunday - Day wheeling/clean up

We'll be selling T-shirts again this year at the gate. $10 for short sleeve and $15 for long sleeve.

Camping will be allowed in the lower parking lot all week this year. Campers may come and go but will not be able to wheel during Monday and Wednesday private events until after 4pm on each of those days. Green Day will be closed on Thursday for the RME Run.

We will be asking for donations once again, and selling tickets for our Giveaway on Saturday April 3rd!!! You don't have to be present.

Desert Rocks 2009

We're happy to announce that Desert Rocks is having their concert at AreaBFE once again this year. You can visit DesertRocks.org for more information on the concert.
They donate a good sum of money to AreaBFE and we ask that you support them.

In cooperation with their set up and take down, we ask that everyone NOT enter through the main gate from Tuesday, May 19 through Tuesday, May 27.

Instead, you can hit the trails by entering through Strike Ravine off of Pole Canyon Rd. just east of the bridge. They will be holding the concert in the upper and lower parking areas so we ask that everyone not enter those areas including the Competition/Test Zone area.

We like to thank all of the people who came out to AreaBFE during Jeep Safari this year.

It was great to meet all of you and thank you very much for all of the support!!!

I have to thank my partner Chris B. for all of his help because there's too much work for one person.

I also have to thank 2 guys, Dan and Slim, who have come out the last 3 Safaris and volunteered their time. I wouldn't be able to manage the week without they're help!!! They make sure that I don't get out line....

We also have to thank all of the companies that supported us with their donations through private events, banner advertising, and product support for the giveaway...
