TOUR FAQ SECTION:
Q: Is there an age restriction on tours?
A: We are not able to accommodate anyone under 5 years old on the UTV Tours. (Please Note: This is only for tours, there is no age restriction on who can ride in a UTV if you Rent a UTV)
Q: Can I bring a booster seat or car seat for my child or do you provide them?
A: Yes you can bring your own if you would like. We do not provide them.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: For our UTV tours and/or Buggy tours, pets can NOT accompany you unless they are a registered service animal. For our UTV rentals, pets may accompany you at your discretion.
Q: Do I have to wear a helmet?
A: Yes. On the UTV tours is it mandatory. We provide everyone with a helmet but if you would like to bring your own, you are welcome to due so as long as it is DOT approved.
Q: What is your cancellation policy on UTV Tours?
A: For UTV Tours of 1 to 2 Machines, we require 72 hours notice prior to the date of your tour for any Cancellations. For UTV Tours of 3 to 5 Machines we require 7 Days notice prior to the date of your tour for any Cancellations. For UTV Tours of 6 or more Machines we require 14 Days Cancellation notice prior to the date of your tour for any Cancellations. Any Cancellations after these requirements will be charged 100% of the full price unless we are able to sell those machines to another party. No-shows will be charged 100% the full price.
UTV RENTALS FAQ SECTION:
Q: Who has to take the New Utah OHV Education Course?
A: Any licensed driver who wishes to drive a UTV in Utah, on or off road.
Q: Does the New Utah OHV Education Course cost money? And How Long is it?
A: For Drivers 18+ it is entirely free, valid forever, and never needs to be renewed.
A: Drivers 16-17 must take a different course that costs $35, and lasts 3-4 hours, it is valid forever, and never needs to be renewed.
Q: Can I still drive a UTV if I have not taken the New Utah OHV Education Course?
A: No, you may not drive the UTV until the course is completed. You can take it electronically ahead of time or even the day of.

Q: Can I take the side by side/UTV into Arches National Park?
A: No, all UTV’s are strictly prohibited from the national parks per their guidelines. This includes Arches & Canyonlands. In fact you cannot access Arches National Park even in your own car unless you make a reservation with them.
Q: Can I drive my machine to the trails and my accommodations and around town?
A: Yes, as long as you do not take any road with a speed limit of greater than 45 mph to reach your destination. You must also possess personal auto insurance that covers you in a rental vehicle. If the trail you want to visit and your accommodations are further afield, trailers must be used and are provided complimentary to you if needed.
Q: What trails can I drive to from your office?
A: Hells Revenge, Fins N' Things, Hurrah Pass, and Chicken Corners
Q: Do you provide Trail Maps?
A: Yes. We will give you paper maps upon your arrival. In addition you may also visit https://www.onxmaps.com/offroad/r/678hphm to receive the trails routes electronically on your phone.
Q: Why do I need to provide my auto insurance for rentals?
A: UTV rentals are street legal and classified as short-term vehicle rentals (Just like a rental car). As such, you need to provide and have proof of your ID Card of your own personal auto insurance policy that covers you in a rental vehicle. This allows you to drive on the roads in town within the allowed constraints, without trailering. Insurance provided through credit cards cannot be accepted, as a policy number cannot be provided and will not be recognized by law enforcement in town.
Q: Do you have trailers we can borrow for our rental?
A: No, not yet but we are working on it.
Q: Are there UTV specific speed limits in town?
A: UTV’s are limited to 15 mph on all side roads in town. On Main Street, UTV’s may go with the regular flow of traffic (30/35 mph).
Q: Are there governors on the machines?
A: No, we do not place any aftermarket governors on the machines.
Q: My machine isn't accelerating past 15mph, why?
A: The UTV will not accelerate past 15mph if the seatbelts for all passengers are not fully buckled.
Q: What is the range on a full tank of gas?
A: Around 80-100 miles depending on the machine you rent.
Q: Are the UTV’s equipped with windshields?
A: No, there are no after-market windshields installed on our UTV’s. We don't want scratched windshields to obstruct your vision. All machines are open air, with a roof.
Q: Are the UTV's equipped with windows, doors, and roofs?
A: Doors and Roofs only.
Q: Can I bring my pet?
A: For our UTV rentals, pets may accompany you at your discretion.
Q: Can a car seat fit in a rental UTV?
A: Yes, car seats can fit in UTV’s. However, there are no anchor points.
Q: Do I have to wear a helmet?
A: In the state of Utah Helmets are required for anyone under the age of 18. We provide you with as many helmets as you might need but you are allowed to bring your own as long as they are DOT approved. If you are 18 or above, the choice to wear a helmet is at your own discretion. (Please note, this law applies to rentals only, if you come on one of our UTV tours, everyone is required to wear a helmet)
Q: Am I responsible for refueling and washing my rental UTV?
A: Yes, we do require you to refuel the machine and rinse it before return.
Q: Can I split the damage deposit with another person?
A: No, deposits must be under one person’s name, per machine, and that person must be physically present to fill out the paperwork in office.
Q: I'm also bringing some of my own UTV's, do I have to have a Utah OHV sticker even if I have one from my own state?
A: Yes. Even if your UTV has an OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) sticker from your state, you will have to purchase a Utah one. You may purchase these online by visiting recreation.utah.gov. This is only for the trails. If your UTV is street legal and has a license plate just like a car then you are allowed to drive that on the pavement as is.
